Built in 1912 by Paul Hoppe, the villa on Bisamberg in Vienna’s 21st district has a long history behind it. From widow’s residence to restaurant to guesthouse, the building was in use until 2011.
It has been empty since then.
The site is now to be converted into a psychosocial residential and care centre.
The overriding aim is to preserve the special charm of the place and the house.
The appreciation of the building and its surroundings is inextricably linked to the residents. Everyone should be given an equal share of rooms that are reminiscent of a fairytale castle.
