Revitalisation of the lower Old Town of Neuburg an der Donau, which is a middle economical centre of Bavaria and has about 35.000 inhabitants.
The intension of the procedure is encouragiging local retail with increasing attractivity of urban space for pedestrians and cyclists.
The area of the competition is researched in conjunction with the totla city structure. The refereneces to the historical city will beeing encouraged.
Reducing street profiles to a required minimum and new arrangements of parking places provides urban space which is avalibal for design.
Attending to the total project with simple designing strategies of lines and dots it is adapted in the layers of square design, illumination desing, landscape architecture and transport planing.
